Weylandts Namibia
Providing consulting services to the owner, Thomas Weylandt, to assist with business strategy, servicing the Namibian and export markets into Africa.
Service provisions include general management, financial and logistics management.
Weylandts South Africa
Approached by the Weylandt brothers in 2002 to provide consulting services assisting with business strategy and their vision to roll-out the Weylandts Homestore brand within South Africa.
This included increasing the production capacity of the in-house high-end furniture manufacturing operations to service the expanding national retail footprint.
Retail stores and logistical operations were implemented in Knysna, Fourways & Menlyn Gauteng.
Services provided included general management, recruitment, production, financial and logistics management.
UPN/Woolworths Logistics
Universal Product Networks (Pty) Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary company of Woolworths) created to manage the groups supply chain (logistical functions) and service the national retail footprint.
Consulting services were provided to the transport division which was the largest cost center within the supply chain.
Services included financial costing of the national transport operation to ensure maximum value was achieved with the corporate third party transport service providers.
Financial models were created to provide the transport division operations management with effective information for utilization in ensuring optimal financial performance while maintaining the required service levels.
Spier Wine Resort
Financial services were provided to Spier Wine Resort during the operations formative years in the mid 1990’s.
This included the implementation of financial systems and controls for the various restaurant, retail, conference and entertainment operations.
Provision of monthly management reporting for the individual entities and consolidated financial information.
